    Move out sale: Philips Iron

    Philip Iron Philip Iron

There is a saying, “if you want to buy a secondhand car, buy the one previously owned by a lady.” Here’s a new saying, “if you want to buy secondhand electronic appliance, buy the one previously owned by a man.” I bought this iron seven years ago, today it still looks as new as it was seven years ago.

I bought this for: S$20. Now I’m selling for: S$10.

Move out sale: Philips Radio Clock [SOLD]

    Philip Radio Clock

I really do not know what good things can I write about this Philips radio clock, not that it’s not a good radio clock, it’s good, it lets me listen to radio at the same time tells me what time it is, so I don’t have to turn my head to the clock to see the time while I tune the radio station…

This cutie runs on A/C power, but you need to plug in a 12v battery if you do not want to lose the time in the event of blackouts. But then again, you can always set the time back again, not like you will lose the time forever…

I bought this for: S$45. Now I’m sold it for: S$10.

    Move out sale: Ikea Blinds

    Ikea Blinds

I have a pair of this, also bought from Ikea. The reason I use this is instead of normal window curtains is because I do not like my room dark and stuffed. And also because they were cheap.

I bought them for: S$32. Now I’m selling them for: S$16.

Move out sale: Ikea Lamps [SOLD]

    Ikea floor lamps

I bought this pair of floor lamps little less than two years ago from Ikea. What makes them interesting is they can be put together as one floor lamp that has two “heads”; or can be placed separately as two floor lamps. I prefer switching on the lamps (with tungsten bulbs) over florescent tubes when I work as they make looking at the LCD screen less straining especially when I work for long hours. It also creates more romantic ambiance compared to the florescent tubes. So, if you are thinking of turning your place into a shag pad, consider getting this pair of lamps.

I bought it for: S$70. Now I’m Sold it for: S$30.
