I’m bilingual. Sometimes, I switched my Windows input language to Chinese when I was sending out emails in Chinese, and often so I forgot to switch it back to English before I typed some URLs in my browser to visit another site, and that, resulting funny string of Chinese text in my browser’s address bar. So I started to try that with the sites I visit regularly and here’s what I got:
- 的按咯和。com (deanloh.com)
com (paypal.com)
com (msn.com)
com (gmail.com)
com (apple.com)
com (hp.com)
org (wordpress.org)
com (facebook.com)
com (friendster.com)
com (flickr.com)
com (blogger.com)
com (ebay.com)
com (myspace.com)
com (digg.com)
com (espn.com)
com (cnet.com)
com (engadget.com)
父母 (last.fm)
Last but not least… anyone wants to make a guess what will cnn.com get you?
Answer: “才能年。com” (and I wonder what did you guess it was…)
Oh by the way, the title above, is actually “Hello World” :)

Hi Dean,
Sorry that I can’t make it to the last Web design Meetup. We will all miss you eventhough it is just a short introduction to each other. Good luck to your new career endeavour! Until we meet again, have a safe journey. Hope to hear more on your new job :)
Dean 12:08 pm on September 10, 2007 Permalink
Hey Felix, thanks for the well wishes. Just to clarify that I’m not getting a new job in China, I’ll still be running my web design business, except that I’ll be doing that from China ;)
But do expect to see lots of stories on China in my blog!

Dean,
This very short time we’ve had feels like much more . . . I can only imagine what it would be like if we had more.
You’ll be remembered.
BTW, remember to claim your money . . . I’ll show you the money.

Sure gonna miss you and your jokes (seriously speaking :p) You’ve been so busy that it’s almost impossible to sit you down. I’m certain that wherever you are, you would be a great joy!
May the Lord’s favour be ever upon you and God Bless!

Dude, never really had the chance to sit down for a nice cuppa with you. When we meet, we always talk business. I feel really guilty. If I’m ever in Wuhan, I’ll definitely drop by. Bon voyage!
