Move out sale: Ziglar On Selling by Zig Ziglar [SOLD]

Ziglar On Selling by Zig Ziglar

A great book by a great sales professional. After reading this, my sales increased by 400% (from previous month’s one sale to following month’s four sales… just kidding)

This book is not just for people who are in sales profession. In my opinion, people who hate selling all the more should read it. Whatever we do in life, in one way or another is a form of selling. From applying for a job to getting your colleague to watch a movie with you. Some may say “that’s persuasion”, but isn’t persuasion part of selling after all?

More information:
382 pages. Published in 2000.

I bought this for: S$9.90. Now I’m selling I sold it for: S$3.

Move out sale: Body Fat Monitor

Omron Body Fat Monitor

You probably wonder why the heck would I have this thing. No I didn’t use this to make websites. This device measures and tells you your body fat percentage. Guys, next time your wife/girlfriend asks you again if she’s fat, don’t talk, tell her to use this, you’ll be safe (hopefully the device will survive too…)

I bought this for: S$100. Now I’m selling for: S$20.

Move out sale: PCI ADSL Broadband Router

PCI ADSL Broadband Router PCI ADSL Broadband Router: Ports

This works well with Singnet’s ADSL broadband connection. It let’s you share your broadband connection to up to 4 computers, while the other end connects to your ADSL modem, all via ethernet cables (RJ-45). This is not a WiFi router. I know it’s a little old school, but if your desktop is just sitting right next to your modem, you’ll probably find this (70mbps) better than getting a WiFi router (54mbps).

I bought this for: S$70. Now I’m selling for: S$20.

Move out sale: Philips Iron

Philip Iron Philip Iron

There is a saying, “if you want to buy a secondhand car, buy the one previously owned by a lady.” Here’s a new saying, “if you want to buy secondhand electronic appliance, buy the one previously owned by a man.” I bought this iron seven years ago, today it still looks as new as it was seven years ago.

I bought this for: S$20. Now I’m selling for: S$10.

Move out sale: Philips Radio Clock [SOLD]

Philip Radio Clock

I really do not know what good things can I write about this Philips radio clock, not that it’s not a good radio clock, it’s good, it lets me listen to radio at the same time tells me what time it is, so I don’t have to turn my head to the clock to see the time while I tune the radio station…

This cutie runs on A/C power, but you need to plug in a 12v battery if you do not want to lose the time in the event of blackouts. But then again, you can always set the time back again, not like you will lose the time forever…

I bought this for: S$45. Now I’m sold it for: S$10.

About

This is Dean Loh's personal blog.
Dean started blogging since 1999. In the beginning he wrote a lot of personal stuffs, so personal till he decided to shut down the blog as he didn't think it was a good idea for his girlfriend to read about his ex-girlfriends.
Then, shortly after he got bored, so he started to blog again, and he wrote a lot of work stuffs, so much about work till he decided to shut it down as he didn't think it was a good idea for his boss to read about his ex-bosses.
Now, Dean is bored again, and since he doesn't have girlfriend (at the moment) and he doesn't work for any boss, he thought, he might as well blog again. And this time, it is going to be just about everything!
